Article Introduction

The goal of the nursing profession is to effectively care for a patient, which is why it is important for professionals to adapt to changes as they arise. Such is the case of the digital era, in which new modalities of care must be incorporated to follow up ambulatory patients suffering from chronic degenerative diseases. An example of this is "the use of information and communications technology to provide health services, expertise and information at a distance" (9), so that the patient's healthcare status can be investigated from home providing guidance focused on their needs, their family and the environment that could be influencing their health status. In this sense, to develop this type of care, it is important to base the implementation of digital tools on the experiences of the use of telemedicine by nursing professionals, for which the research question was: What are the experiences of nurses in the use of digital tools in primary healthcare?

This annual event recalls the date in 1882 when Dr. Robert Koch announced that he had discovered Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the bacillus that causes tuberculosis (TB). Thus, nursing students from the Specialized Institute of Health Professionals, IEPROES Santa Ana Regional Center, held a fair with the aim of evaluating knowledge for the management and control of Tuberculosis regulations.
