The Specialized Institute for Healthcare Professionals, IEPROES, promotes and encourages academic and cultural exchanges for all its students from different careers with the objective of strengthening their knowledge, attitudes, skills and abilities.

On March 11, 2021, the Specialized Institute of Health Professionals signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the International Trade Circle of Spain, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Relations and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of El Salvador.

The purpose is to become strategic allies in accordance with the principles of respect, equality, transparency, good will and ethics, in order to promote the employment program in Spain, by encouraging the hiring of IEPROES nursing graduates in their country.

Job fairs will soon be organized, both physically and virtually, to begin the process of selecting candidates from among our graduates.

It is important to note that the relationship will be based on objective and qualitative data of the process, where IEPROES will have independence at the time of the selection.

On February 23, 2021, the Specialized Institute for Health Professionals inaugurated the virtual reality laboratory and classrooms as a commitment to the fulfillment of the goals proposed for the improvement of the institutional infrastructure as a result of the self-study conducted in 2019.

As background, on June 1, 2020 IEPROES signed a technical cooperation agreement IDB lab - IEPROES ATN/ ME 17917 ES with the Inter-American Development Bank, IDB, for a virtual reality laboratory for the improvement of teaching processes in the healthcare sciences, which will serve to improve: the skills and abilities of our students, the quality of student competencies, the potential in the quality of the services of the national healthcare system, among others.

The development of the virtual reality laboratory is due in large part to the support, dedication and commitment of the team of professors, who are committed to ensuring that the project meets the required expectations, as well as the VERTEX Studio team, who are developing virtual reality procedures to create the environments that will be the source of training and learning for our students.

With the construction of the infrastructure expansion, IEPROES will have several classrooms available to serve the current and future population at the San Salvador headquarters.
