The event was attended by students from different careers, teachers, graduates and institutional authorities. The topics were developed by guest speakers, Mtra. Concepción Castaneda, Licda. Cristina Reyes and from Puerto Rico Gerardo Pacheco, bachelor's degree in nursing.

Daniel Enrique Castro, supervisor of the National Tuberculosis Programmed of the Ministry of Health of El Salvador (MINSAL) participated in this day with a conference and made an evaluation of the stand that the students had prepared.

The conference was attended by Technical, Technologist and Bachelor of Nursing students.

The table of honour was presided over by Dr. Celina Dolores Ventura Elías, General Director of IEPROES, Magister Virginia Azucena Aguilar de Cruz, General Secretary of IEPROES, Magister. Lilian Elizabeth Posada de Ayala, Director of IEPROES Regional Center Santa Ana, members of the Regional Health Authorities, National Hospitals, Teaching and Administrative Staff, relatives, friends, among others.

During the ceremony, 37 new professionals from the first graduating class received their degrees, accrediting them as Bachelor of Nursing graduates who are qualified to provide healthcare at national and international level.

In accordance with its training and the philosophy of the Nursing of El Salvador "We believe in the individual value of the person. Consequently, we assume the responsibility of providing quality and warm nursing services to the individual, family and community".
