development of their functions, within the academic and work area, as well as their own personal development, in such sense they will possess the scientific knowledge to successfully face the complexity of their functions, within processes of continuous improvement, as well as the abilities and skills for the integral care of the individual, the family and the community itself, applying the process of nursing care, in the promotion, prevention, recovery and rehabilitation. Likewise, they will have the ability to know and apply the scientific methodology to carry out objective research in the field of nursing that contributes to knowledge in health, social, community and environmental problems.
