For the second year in a row during the first semester of 2023, the academic and cultural exchange, Cultural Heroes, has taken place. Since January of this year, Bachelor of Nursing students have received virtual classes on healthcare psychology with the psychology department of Morgan State University.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

During the week of March 12-19 we had the visit of undergraduate psychology students from Morgan State University. During this week they developed academic activities in the city of Suchitoto, department of Cuscatlan, such as a visit to an elementary school, a visit to a hospital and a community clinic, teaching Spanish and English to the participating students. Additionally, cultural activities were carried out to show Salvadoran culture, typical food, traditions, art and more.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

As part of the internationalization activities, this type of student mobility allows our future healthcare professionals to have a holistic education that allows them to learn about realities outside national borders. This program will end with the trip of IEPROES students to Morgan State University to complete the healthcare psychology course and develop cultural and community service activities.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
