IEPROES visits San Marcelino Complex

Students of the Environmental Health Technician career of the Specialized Institute of Health Professionals, IEPROES, San Salvador Headquarters, last September 26, 2019, participated in the project "Strengthening the capacities of youth in disaster risk reduction and adaptation to climate change, with emphasis on social inclusion", planned by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, UNESCO and is coordinated by the Environmental Unit of the University of El Salvador (UNA UES) with the aim of sensitizing students on the issue of natural disasters, given that El Salvador is highly vulnerable to these. On the other hand, the biosphere reserve of the San Marcelino Complex, the different species and the work carried out by the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources of El Salvador were presented.
