IEPROES visits "La Zompopera" gully, in the department of Chalatenango

Continuing with the environmental training project: "Strengthening the capacities of youth in disaster risk reduction and adaptation to climate change, with emphasis on social inclusion", students of the Environmental Health Technician career of the Specialized Institute of Health Professionals, IEPROES, San Salvador Headquarters, on October 03, 2019, visited the gully "La Zompopera", in Chalatenango, in order to know the causes that have given rise to this problem and the mitigation measures that are being developed to reduce the landslide. This activity was planned by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, UNESCO and is coordinated by the Environmental Unit of the University of El Salvador, UNA UES.
