The new career is: the Master's Degree in Nursing with emphasis in Maternal and Child Healthcare, which is the first in Central America. It responds to the country's need to provide an integral attention to the mother and the child. IEPROES aims at specialized knowledge, meeting the latest standards of the National Healthcare System, the application of technical guidelines for the care of women and children and the Birth with Caring Law. During the press conference, Mrs. Burgos, the first student enrolled in the program, was very enthusiastic about starting her master's degree.

This master's degree contributes to develop more competent professionals who, in their actions, contribute to the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals.
