During the meeting, professors from the University of Applied Sciences of Tampere, Finland; the University of Ljubliana, Slovenia; the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes and the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosi, Mexico; and the Specialized Institute of Health Professionals IEPROES, University of El Salvador and the Gerardo Barrios University; met to continue with the development of the Smartnurse methodology that will be implemented within the consortium's institutions mainly in the areas of self-care and prevention of chronic non-communicable diseases.
