DISCIPLINARY REGULATIONS OF THE STUDENTS
SEPTEMBER 2016
THE ACADEMIC COUNCIL OF IEPROES ON THE BASIS OF ABOVE AND
WHEREAS:
- That the statutes of the institution are the legal bases that rule all the actions developed by the IEPROES.
- It is necessary to create the tools to achieve the objectives of the institution with a comprehensive, with solid ethical principles and moral established in Art. 5 of the statutes
- In article 6 of the statutes has as one of its purposes to achieve
the comprehensive development in its dimensions spiritual, moral and social
THEREFORE:
In the exercise of the powers conferred on it the Art. 25, literal “a” of the Law of Higher Education, and Art. 12 literal “b” of the Statutes, the Academic Council issued this Disciplinary Regulations.
CHAPTER I
OBJECT, RIGHTS, DUTIES
AND PROHIBITIONS OF THE STUDENTS
Art 1. This chapter aims to determine the enjoyment of the rights, duties and prohibitions of the students.
The ignorance of this regulation does not relieve the student of responsibility for the offence committed, due to that a copy is provided when you enrolled.
RIGHTS OF STUDENTS
Art.2. Students have the right to:
- Be respected in its entirety, dignity, ethical beliefs, religious, ideological or policy without any discrimination and receive integral education of quality to ensure the full development professional.
- Actively participate in the process teaching and learning: getting the professional advice and an assessment of their performance in the school with objective criteria of the part of teachers and coordinators of career, providing suggestions and comments for the betterment of their own training and being able to to request review of your assessment when you consider that it is not correct, according to the established procedure.
- Access to education without limiting economic, through the support offered by the Institution for obtaining scholarships, by a specific unit for obtaining scholarships.
- A defense, when the accused in a lack and not be punished without prove of your liability.
- Part policies and student associations of former students, to collaborate through them, in the development of the activities of the institution: academic, cultural, sports, social, among others.
- Receive medical and psychological care as needed or requested in the clinic of the institution, and part of the Unit Psychology institutional.
- Meet your nutritional needs, establishing fifteen minutes, either by the morning or afternoon to take your snack (during practice) and forty-five minutes for lunch, according to the timetable established by the teacher and student availability.
- Know their rights and be heard when they expose their complaints to the authorities, when these are struck.
DUTIES OF STUDENTS
Art. 3. Students have the duty to:
- Know and comply with the provisions of in the Regulations of IEPROES, thus creating an atmosphere of harmony and respect to the whole of the educational community.
- Adhere to the disciplinary standards laid down by the institution and its teaching, among which are:
- Be submitted to the institution, and the establishments of practice duly sworn (The complete uniform includes: uniform, professional, shoes, regulatory, case, full, watch with a second hand, bonnet with its distinctive, identification plate and monogram and identification badge institutional); which should be used in order and clean, abstaining from the use of jewellery, and getting used to cleaning body, nails short, clean and free of nail, the arrangement of the hair: women short hair or tied and men with short hair. - To efficiently perform the activities inherent to their responsibilities as students
- Respect the human dignity of all members of the community educational: to treat with due respect to their authorities, teachers and trainers in the classroom, laboratory, and in practice, to maintain good relations interpersonal relationships, develop professionally with honesty, trustworthiness and integrity, contribute to the development of an environment harmonious and solidarity within the educational community, avoiding damage verbal or physical, to avoid the use of offensive words and dismissive attitudes towards others and cooperate with their peers when necessary.
- Save the proper reserve and discretion in matters related to the patients placed in her care and the institutions in which they play during the process of learning.
- To provide effective care and risk-free to the individual, family and community, in their process of learning.
- Respect the values and beliefs of all the people with whom you related.
- Show interest in their training and emotional stability.
- Show initiatives in their various performances.
- To report abnormalities observed in the institution or in the fields of practice teachers and authorities of the institution.
- Respect and/or address lines authority established for the resolution of problems, and others.
PROHIBITIONS FOR STUDENTS
Art. 4. Are prohibitions for the students:
- Neglecting the compliance of the activities that are assigned to it.
- Absent from the Institute or of the clinical practice scheduled without prior authorization, or to withdraw from the establishment or practice hall without having complete activities assigned, without due permission from the authorities respective.
- Receive visits or be accompanied by family or friends during hours of your performance as a student.
- Establish loving relationships with patients or staff of the institution,
- Request prescriptions and medical practitioners, for personal use.
- Steal the equipment, materials, or drugs in the institutions where it perform the practice or institution of learning.
- Soliciting or accepting rewards or financial contributions as compensation for services rendered in the performance of their clinical practice or activities of any nature.
- Political lobbying or ideological in places of learning.
- Be in the form unseemly or under the influence of intoxicating liquors or drugs, in public, any massive communication media or in the institution itself, in addition to not consume none of these within the institution and its surroundings.
- To utter or pronounce insults to their superiors and peers.
- Disclose proprietary information of the institution in which it is forming.
- Stay in the clinical field days and non-business hours without prior written consent, make and receive calls phone in class time and practice,
- To provide confidential information to some means of mass communication the institution or condition of the patients of a health center.
- Take photo of patients without the due authorization,
- Keep on the phone in hours class and clinical practice
- Eating food within classrooms classroom and during clinical practice or which are intended for patients or employees of the establishment of health.
CHAPTER II
OF LATE ARRIVALS AND ABSENCES
Art. 5. Aspects related with the arrivals late and absences:
- It will allow him (the) student three late arrivals in the same month of the calendar, with valid reason and proof.
- The first absence or fourth lateness will result in a written interview, a record will be made in the personal file, and written work on Nursing responsibility will be assigned.
- When late arrivals and absences accumulate and exceed the authorized percentage, Art. 21 of the evaluation regulations will be applied.
CHAPTER III
DISABILITIES
Art. 6. Aspects related to the license or disability:
- The students will enjoy and medical leave for childbirth or caesarean section, and other pathologies, as the case may be, and will integrate their studies pre-assessments deferred, will continue with their studies according to the schedule Management Academic, who resolved by applying the rules of assessment.

CHAPTER IV
RATING OF THE OFFENSES AND PENALTIES

Art.8. The faults are qualified in:
- Minor fault
- Serious fault
- Very serious fault
Art.9. Are minor faults:
- Not be present 10 minutes before the scheduled hours of classes theoretical and clinical practices.
- Run poorly all activity assigned,
- Demonstrate little interest in the teaching-learning process,
- Demonstrate poor interpersonal relationships and professional
- Lack of honesty, trustworthiness and integrity,

- Ask for personal use prescriptions from doctors and practitioners,
- Do not give co-operation to its peers when necessary,

Art.10. Are serious faults:
- Incur the same misdemeanour by the third time,
- Missing without proper authorization to lectures and clinical practice scheduled.
- Cheating in exams, or papers that are included in your evaluation summative when outside for the first time,
- Make improper use of the infrastructure of the institution and the fields of clinical practice,
- To disrespect the human dignity of all members of the community educational,
- Interfere with the development of a harmonious atmosphere and solidarity within the educational community,
- Disrespect to the authorities, teachers and instructors in the classroom, laboratory and in practice,
- Use in a negligent manner of equipment and materials placed at his service in the process of learning, and returned in a poor state which are not expendable,
- Steal the belongings of the members of the educational community.
- Be filed with the incomplete uniform.
- The use of offensive words, attitudes derogatory towards others,
- Make proselytism political or ideological in places of learning,
- Appear in the form unseemly or under effects of alcohol or illicit drug in public, and in any medium massive communication
- Receive visits or be accompanied by family or friends during the hours of your performance as a student.
- Stay in the clinical field days and non-business hours without prior written consent,
Art.11. Are fouls very serious:
- Cheating on examinations, or jobs that are included in your summative assessment in a repetitive way and in work degree,
- Possession of or make use of any firearms or sharps within the premises of the institute,
- Encourage you to participate in any disorder within the institute, which hamper the normal development of the academic activity,
- Establish loving relationships with patients or staff of the institution,
- Steal the equipment, materials, or drugs in the institutions where it perform the practice or institution of learning.
- Soliciting or accepting rewards or financial contributions as compensation for services rendered in the performance of their clinical practice or activities of any nature.
- To provide confidential information to any mass - communication about the institution or condition of the patients of a health center.
- Take photo of patients without the due authorization,
- Disclose information specific to the institution where it is forming,
- Absence 50% or more to their clinical practice,
- Incur criminal offences, in which he is condemned,

SANCTIONS.
Art.12.The sanctions will be in accordance with the gravity of the offence committed, have a character education and also contribute to the process of formation of the student
Art.13. The disciplinary punishments applicable to the minor

Art.14. The disciplinary sanctions applicable to faults gravesson:

Art. 15. The disciplinary sanctions applicable to the faults very serious

CHAPTER V
OF THE BODIES AND OFFICIALS COMPETENT

CHAPTER VI
PROCEDURE

CHAPTER VII
Art. 23. All matters not provided for in this Regulation, will be decided by the Council Management of the institution, at the proposal of the Address of the headquarters or Regional Centres.
Art. 24. The this regulation shall enter into force on the day following its approval and registration by the Ministry of Education and will be released to the community education through the academic catalog, website, and other means of communication.
Art. 25. Repeal the above regulation, registered in the Ministry of Education in date 23 January 2008, under the number 16, page 251, volume 1, the Book of Registration of Internal Regulations, according to Art. 43 of the Education Act Top.
