DISSEMINATION OF RESEARCH, SOCIAL PROJECTION AND CULTURAL EXTENSION PROJECTS

“BY JOINING EFFORTS FOR THE HEALTH, SCIENCE AND SOCIETY”.

The Specialized Institute of Healthcare Professionals-IEPROES, San Salvador Headquarters proudly presented on Thursday, May 25, 2023, a series of outstanding projects in the areas of scientific research, social outreach and cultural extension, art and sports. These achievements reflect our continued commitment to the generation of scientific knowledge, the strengthening of ties with the community and the promotion of art and culture.

The Research Unit during 2022, worked tirelessly to conduct a study focused on the relationship between the vocation of high school students and its influence on the choice of a professional career. The results obtained from this research have generated new knowledge that is extremely beneficial for decision making by key sectors of society.

The Social Projection Unit made known the linkage of academic work with the natural, social, environmental and cultural reality of the country, carried out projects that respond to problems identified in the environment, mainly serving vulnerable populations. Many of these projects arise from the new scientific knowledge generated by IEPROES' institutional research.

Last year, the Cultural, Art and Sports Extension Unit implemented projects that respond to IEPROES' policy of quality and social responsibility, promoting skills and abilities in students, professors and administrative personnel that favor their physical and mental healthcare.

The socialization aims to inform the educational community and society in general, the good practices carried out in the research unit, the unit of social projection, culture, art and sports, publicly recognizing the key players of various instances that have contributed to the success of the various projects implemented in 2022.
